The Founder of Virgin Group, Sir Richard Branson (one of my heros) and Google have announced Project Virgle, for the establishment of a permanent human settlement on Mars.

According to the announcement, which appeared today on The Official Google Blog, the two companies have teamed up to move humanity beyond Earth, and establishing a lasting foothold on the Planet Mars.

According to the reports they’ll be sending up a series of spaceships carrying supplies, tools and Mars colonists, or Virgle Pioneers. I’ve already taken the The Adventure of Many Lifetimes exam and I’m ready to go.

I figure all those Virgilists are going to need chiropractic care, especially with that cramped three-month journey from Earth to Mars and a potentially bumpy flight.
